Viewpoint Investigative Services specialises in the forensic reconstruction of road accidents, including full forensic vehicle examinations.

The company was formed in 2013 and is owned and operated by Pete Davey who served as an officer in the Avon and Somerset Constabulary for over 17 years. He was a Road Traffic Patrol Officer before becoming an Accident Investigator for his last 11 years service.​

Pete has been joined by Dave Loat, Mark Stedman and Mike Smalley, all of whom served with the same Constabulary. Recently, Chris Goddard has also joined the team after retiring from the Gwent Constabulary.

Dave was the Senior Investigating Officer for the Constabulary’s Forensic Collision Investigation Unit for 11 years and was a police officer with over 30 years experience before retiring in 2014. Mark served for over 22 years before retiring in 2013 after being a forensic accident investigator for the last 8 years of his service. Mike was also the Senior Investigating Officer for the Constabulary before retiring with 30 years experience. He has been a forensic accident investigator for over 35 years.

Chris was also the Senior Investigating Officer for the Gwent Constabulary. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the team and has conducted out extensive research into the examination of speedometers and calculating vehicle speed following examination.

Viewpoint Investigative Services brings a fresh wealth of knowledge to the industry. Its investigators have vast experience of presenting evidence in both Civil and Criminal courts.

The Company operates throughout the UK and Ireland.
